Robb Report, the global authority on luxury lifestyle, has officially introduced Robb Report Africa, a new editorial chapter that places the continent’s talent, heritage, and luxury innovation at the center of the global conversation. The debut was marked on 25 November 2025 with an intimate and meticulously curated evening at Emperors Palace across the D’Oreale Grande Hotel, the Met Court Suite, and the Galleria Restaurant. The gathering, produced in partnership with Peermont Group, carried the theme Legacy and the Throne: A Gathering of Africa’s Icons and Future Keepers.
The evening brought together an influential group of guests from across the continent and beyond. Luxury leaders sat alongside, cultural tastemakers, creatives, founders, and innovators whose work continues to redefine modern African prestige. The night served as both a celebration and a signal that African luxury is entering a new era of authorship and international relevance.

For nearly five decades, Robb Report has shaped the world’s understanding of luxury through its editorial curation of design, craftsmanship, travel, automotive excellence, fashion, culinary innovation, and cultural influence. With the arrival of Robb Report Africa, the continent’s stories now join this global narrative with the authority and nuance they deserve.
“Robb Report Africa represents luxury’s homecoming,” said Ntokozo Maseko, Editor in Chief of Robb Report Africa. “Africa is not simply contributing to global luxury. It is defining its future. Our goal is to spotlight the people, places, ideas, and experiences that are moving the needle. This launch, created in partnership with Peermont, affirms Africa’s rightful place in refined global living.”
As the official partner for the launch, Peermont Group shaped the evening’s visual and experiential journey across the award winning Emperors Palace precinct. From the classical grandeur of the D’Oreale Grande Hotel to the stately Met Court Suite and the curated cultural setting of the Galleria, the environment reflected the continent’s layered luxury identity.

“Partnering with Robb Report Africa affirms Peermont’s commitment to placing Africa at the forefront of global luxury,” said Rorisang Setlogelo, Fractional Chief Marketing Officer at Peermont Group. “Tonight is about more than a launch. It is about honouring African excellence. Through our hotels, culinary vision, and guest experiences, we celebrate a continent rich with legacy creativity and promise.”
Published in digital formats, Robb Report Africa will deliver reporting on all things luxury, share exclusive interviews, sophisticated visuals, as well as high level luxury brand collaborations and events. The publication will explore the full breadth of African and global luxury, from architecture and design to automotive culture, fashion, fine jewellery, hospitality, travel, gastronomy, art, and the emerging ideas shaping the luxury’s future in Africa and beyond.
Africa remains one of the most dynamic and fast growing luxury markets globally, driven by a rising generation of affluent consumers, cultural entrepreneurs, investors, and global Africans whose influence radiates across industries. Robb Report Africa will serve as a bridge between this audience and the world’s leading luxury brands while amplifying African innovators within the international Robb Report ecosystem.

The debut event’s theme, Legacy and the Throne, echoed throughout the evening. It referenced the continent’s cultural lineage while acknowledging the individuals shaping what luxury will mean for Africa in the decades ahead. The night felt both reflective and forward looking. A moment anchored in heritage and sharpened by ambition. Partners like Quion Rock wines who paired the four course seated dinner with some of their special selections and Hennessy who curated refreshing cognac mixes cemented the night in tasteful luxury.

The arrival of Robb Report Africa marks the beginning of a considered and contemporary luxury narrative authored by African voices and supported by a global platform. In collaboration with Peermont Group, this launch marks a renewed commitment to celebrating Africa’s icons, innovators, and future keepers through world class editorial excellence.
