Omega’s New Aqua Terra Collection Delivers Brilliance and Tems Has a Firm Favourite

Smaller watches are having a moment, offering a luxe take on downsized watchmaking.
Tems for Omega's My Little Secret campaign

Grammy Award winning music artist Tems, known for her soul-stirring vocals, is now channelling that same creative instinct as one of the faces of Omega’s new Aqua Terra 30mm “My Little Secret” campaign. She makes her preference known: the complete 18K Moonshine™ Gold model is a front runner.

Crafted entirely in Omega’s proprietary Moonshine Gold – a paler, long-lasting 18K alloy – the watch delivers substance and shine. The sun-brushed dial, colour-treated with PVD and lacquered for depth, glows under light. Eleven boat hull-shaped hour markers and sharp faceted hands – all in 18K Moonshine™ Gold – add texture, while white Super-LumiNova emits a blue glow to ensure low-light legibility.

Subtle design details link the collection to the Seamaster line, which pays tribute to Omega’s maritime heritage.

Flip the Aqua Terra over, and the transparent caseback reveals the METAS-certified Master Chronometer Calibre 8751: Omega’s smallest automatic movement, explicitly re-engineered for this compact case. With anti-magnetic protection up to 15,000 gauss and a power reserve of over 48 hours, the Aqua Terra 30mm is built as impressively as it looks.

A butterfly clasp with comfort adjustment, integrated gold bracelet with rounded, polished links, and wave-edged transparent case back complete the timepiece with typical Swiss finesse. It’s a masterclass in refined luxury – and Tems wears it with ease.

Moonshine™ gold on Moonshine™ gold

Beyond her favoured Moonshine™ Gold piece, the full Aqua Terra 30mm collection offers 11 additional variations. Five stainless steel references anchor the lineup with brushed and polished bracelets. There’s a single Sedna™ Gold model – Omega’s proprietary rose gold alloy that produces a rich, reddish hue – three two-tone editions combining steel with either Moonshine™ or Sedna™ Gold for subtle contrast and two more Moonshine™ gold models. Each watch shares the same precise inner workings, lacquered dial treatments, and compact yet expressive proportions that speak to modern tastes.

The collection introduces two new Master Chronometer movements, each with a 20mm diameter tailored to the 30mm case. The Calibre 8750 (3.98mm thick) powers the stainless steel and two-tone references, while the Calibre 8751 (4.08mm thick) is reserved for the Sedna™ and Moonshine™ Gold models. Both movements feature Omega’s Co-Axial escapement, a free-sprung balance with silicon balance spring, and automatic winding in both directions for optimal performance.

Smaller watches are having a moment – and the new Aqua Terra nails the brief, offering a luxe take on downsized watchmaking. It’s a powerful offering for those who favour timeless elegance with serious credentials. The Aqua Terra 30mm is available at omegawatches.com. With its mix of precious metals, heritage design, and a strong ambassador in Tems, this release hits all the right notes.
